During his March visit,
Dieter met a very talented
painter who expresses the
beauty of the Provence in
his paintings, Pascal
Maucourant.
During the course of the
next weeks and months, a
friendship emerged, with
many opportunities to
exchange views on the best
views in the Provence …
As a result, you will find
many pieces of his artwork
in our house, and we are
happy to help you to get in
touch with Pascal if you are
interested in buying some
of his works to take the
colorfulness and beauty of
the region back to your
own home.
At the occasion of a visit to
Isle-sur-la-Sorgue we
recently managed to find
some beautiful artwork for
our garden. A talented
marrocean artist uses
pieces from a scrapyard to
weld and forge metal
pieces into wonderful
sculptures. Our two horses
combine our interest in
engineering, recycling, and
riding in a very expressive
way. We decided to put
„mother and child“ in each
other‘s eye sight to catch
their dynamic expression.
They are there to watch
them, but please to not
touch or climb on them.
The pond we found over 20
years ago in Hamburg, and
finally it ended up as the
termination point of our
pathway towards the
lavender garden.
