OUTSIDE ARLESin the north of Arles are landmarks, very close the impressive remanents of Abbeye Montmajour (entry tickets required). Nearby on multiple spots remnants of a network of roman aqueducts providing drinking water for Arles as well as a large roman watermill-complex grinding the flour for the roman town Arelate (Arles).
